Deaconess Chancellor Center for Oncology Partners with Evansville Cancer Center - Vantage Oncology

EVANSVILLE, IN - In a continued effort to provide comprehensive and
coordinated cancer care to the Tri-State, Deaconess Chancellor Center
for Oncology and Evansville Cancer Center - Vantage Oncology have
announced a new partnership. This partnership, named Tri-State Radiation
Oncology Centers, will operate two full-service oncology centers at
their current locations: 700 N. Burkhardt Road in Evansville, Indiana,
and 4055 Gateway Boulevard in Newburgh, Indiana.
The two centers will continue to offer the most extensive,
state-of-the-art technology and a full range of oncology services in a
comfortable and healing environment. This includes providing
comprehensive radiation therapy services, pain management, chemotherapy
infusion, psychological and spiritual support, individual cancer education and guidance, nutritional counseling, cancer rehabilitation,
financial counseling and insurance assistance, community education and
lending libraries.

Cancer Center physicians and employees bring to the table fit very well
with the compassionate care offered at Deaconess and will assist us in
providing quality oncology care to patients throughout the Tri-State."
Jon D. Frazier, M.D., medical director and radiation oncologist for
Evansville Cancer Center, will serve as medical director of both
facilities. Dr. Frazier and his expert team of cancer specialists will
provide patients access to advanced radiation therapies including Image
Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy
(IMRT), High Dose Rate Brachytherapy, advanced treatment planning
programs and an internationally recognized Gamma Med program.

Tri-State Radiation Oncology Centers, LLC was formed in November 2008
and, upon receipt of customary consents, will combine the operations of
Deaconess Chancellor Center for Oncology and Evansville Cancer Center -
Vantage Oncology in a joint venture between Deaconess Hospital andVantage Oncology. Tri-State Radiation Oncology Centers was formed to
leverage the strengths of its partners in order to improve the delivery
of comprehensive and coordinated cancer care in the Tri-State area.
