Brooklyn Radiation Oncology Medical Director Dr. Paul Gliedman Named To New York Magazine's 2010 List of Best Doctors - Dr. Gliedman
also Selected as Castle Connolly’s New York Metro Area Top Doctors for the 10th Consecutive Year 

BROOKLYN, NY (June 12, 2010) – Brooklyn Radiation Oncology recently announced that its Medical Director and board certified radiation oncologist Paul Gliedman, M.D. was named to New York Magazine's 2010 List of Best Doctors. In addition, Dr. Gliedman was selected as one of Castle Connolly’s New York Metro Area Top Doctors for the 10th consecutive year.

The list profiles 1,119 of the best doctors in the New York, Connecticut and New Jersey areas. With more than 50,000 practicing physicians in the New York area, Dr. Gliedman is among the elite chosen for being the best in his field. In choosing the doctors, emphasis was placed on direct patient care and was further refined by interviews with leading specialists, chiefs of service, and other healthcare personnel, conducted by Castle Connolly Medical, a research and publishing company.

Dr. Gliedman has served as Medical Director of Brooklyn Radiation Oncology since its opening in 2006. He also is the Associate Director of Continuum Cancer Centers of New York and the Director of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center, Brooklyn Division. In addition, Dr. Gliedman serves as Senior attending physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology at St. Luke's- Roosevelt Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Gliedman has extensive experience in managing cancer of the prostate, breast, lung, central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract as well as gynecologic cancers. In addition, he has developed active programs in stereotactic radiosurgery and prostate seed implantation.
