Michael T. Fiore – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Fiore joined Vantage Oncology as its Chairman and CEO in 2002 and has more than eleven years of experience in the development and operation of cancer treatment facilities including radiation therapy. He was the COO of Salick Health Care, a publicly traded cancer services company with over 30 sites, and the former president of its cancer center subsidiary. Under his direction, Salick’s revenue reached approximately $200 million prior to its sale to Zeneca in 1997 for $450 million. Previously, he served as Vice President of American Medical International (now Tenet Healthcare), an owner and operator of hospitals. Mr. Fiore has an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in Economics from Amherst College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Leslie E. Botnick, MD – Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Leslie Botnick is a board certified Radiation Oncologist practicing at The Center for Radiation Therapy of Beverly Hills.  Dr. Botnick is the Chief Medical Officer of Vantage Oncology and Chief Executive Officer of Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group.  He received a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Brooklyn College followed by a Medical Degree from New York Medical College.  He interned at Metropolitan Hospital in New York before serving his residency at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy in Boston.  He later became Chief Resident at the Joint Center.  He was Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.  Dr. Botnick has written over 40 publications on Breast Cancer, Hodgkin's, Head and Neck Cancer and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Repair.  Dr. Botnick is currently associated with several Health Systems throughout Los Angeles Orange and Riverside Counties in California, including the nationally renowned John Wayne Cancer Institute.  Dr. Botnick is also listed in Who's Who of Doctors in America and in Good Housekeeping magazine as a leading physician in the treatment of Breast Cancer.  Dr. Botnick is a participant on the notably syndicated weekly radio show "The Group Room," a show dedicated to the clinical and psychosocial support of cancer patients.  Areas of expertise include Breast, Prostate, Pancreatic and Rectal Cancer as well as Hodgkins and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Christopher M. Rose, MD, FACR – Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Christopher Rose is a board certified Radiation Oncologist and serves as Medical Director of The Center for Radiation Therapy of Beverly Hills.  Dr. Rose is both the Technical and Associate Director of Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group.  He received his B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and M.D. from Harvard Medical School.  Upon graduation, he served an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, followed by a residency in Radiation Oncology at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy.  Dr. Rose was a Visiting Clinical Scientist at the Institute for Cancer Research, Royal Marsden Hospital, University of London in Great Britain.  He was an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Rose was Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the professional society of Radiation Oncology.  He is Past President of the Council of Affiliated Regional Radiation Oncology Societies of the American College of Radiology, Past President of the California Radiation Oncology Society, and Counselor of the American College of Radiology.  He was the Expert Physician reviewer for radiation oncology for the California Medicare Carrier and advisor to the Health Care Financing Agency Clinical Practice Expense Panel.  He is currently a member of the Medicare Coverage Advisory Commission and Vice Chair of the NCI-sponsored Quality Research in Radiation Oncology Study. Dr. Rose has published more than 50 articles on the treatment of Prostate Cancer, Breast Cancer, Head and Neck Cancer and physico-chemical methods of radiation sensitization.  He is one of three radiation oncologists who received the Donald Coffey Clinician Scientist Award of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. He is the 2008 Gold Medalist of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. He is listed in Best Doctors in America. Areas of expertise include Prostate, Breast, Skin, Rectal, Esophageal, and Lung Cancer as well as Bone Metastases.

Marshal D. Salomon – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Salomon joined Vantage Oncology as its CFO in 2002. He is the former Vice President of both Finance and Corporate Development at DaVita, Inc. (NYSE: DVA), the second largest provider of dialysis services in the United States. At the time of his departure, DaVita (formerly Total Renal Care) served 43,000 patients through a network of 493 owned and managed outpatient facilities in 32 states. Prior to joining DaVita in 1996, Mr. Salomon was Vice President and General Manager of Columbia Medical Mfg. Corp., a manufacturer and marketer of rehabilitation equipment. He has an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA and a BA in Economics from Brown University.

Mark Ahern – Chief Development Officer

Mr. Ahern joined Vantage Oncology as its CDO in 2005 and is the former President of First Circle Medical, Inc.; a medical device company focused on developing treatments for Hepatitis C. Prior to that, Mr. Ahern was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for US Oncology, a large healthcare services network dedicated to cancer treatment and research. While at US Oncology, Mr. Ahern was responsible for acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. At the time of his departure in the fall of 2000, US Oncology had grown to over 900 affiliated physicians, 460 practice locations and 85 free-standing cancer centers encompassing 32 states. Mr. Ahern earned his BA from the University of Arizona.

Mark Shalvarjian – Senior Vice President

Mr. Shalvarjian was formerly Vice President of Physician Services and Payer Contracting at DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA). In addition, he founded and operated DaVita's Network Affiliates division and the DaVita Nephrology Associates (DNA) division. Prior to joining DaVita, Mr. Shalvarjian was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Interviewing Service of America (ISA), a quantitative market research firm and was a Manager at Deloitte and Touche, an international accounting and consulting firm. Mr. Shalvarjian has a MA in Business Administration from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a conferred Certified Public Accountant in California.
