Linas J. Kazlauskas, MD
Linas Kazlauskas, MD, joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates in 2001 and is a board certified Radiation Oncologist. Dr. Kazlauskas practices at and is the medical director of Glendale Radiation Therapy Center in Glendale, CA. A Chicago-area native, he received a Bachelor of Science, honors degree in Physics from Loyola University Chicago where he received both departmental and collegiate honors, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College. Dr. Kazlauskas completed his internship and residency in radiation oncology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Kazlauskas has experience with neutron irradiation for the treatment of malignancies at the Midwest Institute for Neutron Therapy located at the U.S. Department of Energy's Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. He is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and the Southern California Radiation Oncology Society. Areas of expertise include prostate, lung, skin, and breast cancers. He has familiarity with three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy, IMRT and MammoSite® accelerated partial breast irradiation techniques. He is bilingual in English and Lithuanian. |
