Les Yonemoto, MD
Dr. Les Yonemoto joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 2009. He is a board certified Radiation Oncologist and serves at Vantage Radiation Oncology Center in San Bernardino, California. While he was at the Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA, he served as Associate Professor, Residency Director, and Associate Medical Director at the Department of Radiation Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at University of California - Berkeley, Master of Business Administration at Arizona State University and Doctor of Medicine degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Yonemoto completed his transitional internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona and his residency in Radiation Oncology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He received specialized training for head and neck cancer at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Yonemoto has special interest in cancer research and has authored and co-authored many peer-reviewed articles. He has lectured on cancer research and treatment in many domestic and international forums and has been featured in several national and regional news programs. He is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the San Bernardino County Medical Society.
