Medical Assistant

Vantage Oncology, a leading provider of radiation oncology services, is looking for an experienced and certified Medical Assistant for its Leesburg clinic.

This position is responsible for entering information into ARIA during patient interactions.  Previous experience with ARIA or other EMR systems is required.

This job is also responsible for:

• Gathering all new patient scans, labs, etc. in order to be ready for consult
• Obtaining authorizations for consults, treatments, etc.
• Greeting and checking in patients
• Participating in patient instruction
• Entering data into EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
• Documenting and scanning a variety of items

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ Medical Assistant experience in an extremely fast-paced environment.  Other requirements include:  current Medical Assistant certification, high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and radiation oncology practice experience is preferred but not required for this position.
